Often the word marketing makes small business owners want to recoil to the foetal position and rock back and forth until they’re no longer thinking about how they’re going to wow with their next Instagram story.

Normally when people start talking about what inspires them, I feel an eye-roll coming on. As I can almost guarantee someone is going to use the word ‘passionate’ and this makes my skin just about crawl right off my body. 

Although my face is a little more wrinkly and my pocket certainly isn’t as full, my head and my soul are so much better for it.
